Kick drum has some noise tail - anyone else and how to correct?

Discuss Nava construction and related issues
  • Hey! Yeah, I’ve run into that issue before with my Nava as well. The noise tail on the kick can sometimes be caused by decay settings that are too long or a grounding issue. You might want to check your kick decay pot and try dialing it back a little to see if that shortens the tail. Also, make sure all your solder joints are clean, especially around the kick circuit and the noise section—sometimes a tiny bridge or cold joint can introduce odd artifacts. Pokerogue

If you can upload the audio to a service like Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link, I’d be happy to give it a listen and see if it sounds familiar.

    Hope that helps!
