It's probably there because Vincent designed it like that due to the difference of his sequencer and the original. Question is why? And if not what is the value? Is this causing the issues reported as we all followed the BOM? However as his demo sounds pretty good to me I will opt for the 0.47µ.
Maybe Vincent can shed some light next week.
C163 is 0,47uf. BOM will be updated

Dear Diyer,
C163 is 0.047uF. We made a huge mistake when we told you that it was 0.47uF.
This capacitor is use as sample hold in pair with the M5218L.
We apologize for this mistake

Vincent,
Can you confirm this is for all 0.47µ capacitors that are tied to the instruments accent lines to be 0.047µ?
C89, C163, C165, C168, C164, C167?

I confirm that C89, C163, C165, C168, C164, C167 are 0.047uF

yes take some film capacitors not the ceramic multilayer, although probably you woudntl hear the difference´..
still for audio analog signal chain, it is recommended to use caps with better dielectric frequency stability than X7R.
The only thing to look out for in those film caps, is the pitch, the distance from one pin to another, and the higher voltage ratings they got the bigger they are, so maybe some 100V types wont fit into your design but the 63V should do.

Dunno bout any of that. But ceramic Caps resonate or are microphonic. Something like that.
So you don't want em in the signal chain...

Thanks both of you!
