Hi all, hopefully this isn't an annoying repeated question -
I haven't ordered the BOM for the v1.0 pcb and noticed there have been some issues with BD buzz and of course some missing stuff from the bom over the months. I also see that there will be new nava and yocto pcbs (great!) - but I am also wondering if there are any big issues with the original nava motherboard other than the BD buzz. Will be ordering the bom soon to build it..
also hoping the pcb layout didn't change in terms of the interface layout - or will the nava cases need an update too?
**hmm build guide seems to cover some of the issues for v1 pcb - awesome
new pcb vs old pcb
Hi rat!
All the error in the circuit should be corrected in the next PCB batch, so no traces to cut in the bassdrum and no transistor leg swapping for the snare (yeah!). I don't think that the interface layout will change.
Concerning the BOM, it's not always up to date so best is to check that it's complete and look for equivalents for stuff that's not available at that moment.

Ah cool - good to know! I am sure in 20 years people will be wanting the ORIGINAL v1.0 NAVA pcb version for that authentic 2016 analog diy warmthBastienL wrote:Hi rat!
