Having some troubles with the hi-hat eprom, the sound is chopped.. when I read the rom with my programmer it tells me: ID Error. I can read what's on the chip without id check to save it as bin and then import it into wave lab which clearly shows me it's missing pieces of data. I have some matching ...

Update: just removed ic113 the one with heat problems and now the GND and 5V is no longer shorted.. (the gnd & vcc is shorted on the chip..) I probably fried it when I was troubleshooting the midtom or something.. :mrgreen: Don't have any other 595 to test with atm, and the mt is dead anyway.. n...

Yes and thanks for your concern! I have made some more short tests with it all plugged in, Im not getting any serious heat issues other than ic113 as I mentioned earlier so fingers crossed, but probably there are more fails to come as this gets sorted out eventually ... but also figured that its bet...

interesting, measured as you described and Im getting the same results.. even noticed overheat on ic113.

Your clap is ok, if you want less just lower the volume knob on the front panel ... In addition to a TR909 can not lower the accent directly for the clap, there is only one pad, on the keyboard for the clap and that is accent is highter.(I have not started to build my Nava, but i guess it's like on...

Your clap is ok, if you want less just lower the volume knob on the front panel ... In addition to a TR909 can not lower the accent directly for the clap, there is only one pad, on the keyboard for the clap and that is accent is highter.(I have not started to build my Nava, but i guess it's like on...

1. MIDTOM sometimes it sounds metallic almost like a HI-HAT, or as a very high pitched TOM, this problem varies between the two 'errors', depending on if I press down on the vr14. …wrong pot, or defective?? edit. pot is ok I had problems with mid tom and VR14, too. mayber this helps: http://www.e-l...
