Re: My yocto is not working in many differnent ways... HELP
thanks for reply. im currently going through the whole sequencer. I ended up getting my arduino to trigger sounds...I didn't realize you also had to have the yocto plugged in as well as the other things. Good news is the rim shot works and Im getting noise with my snare...the ohh still has very litt...

My yocto is not working in many differnent ways.(RESOLVED)
I managed to get the bootloader flashed on to the atmega and can get step light leds to flash twice when turning on holding down 1,3 and 5...but can not upload the firmware. Step lights 1-8 do not flash indicating that it is being written. A couple of other unusual things are happening: LED 1-4 are ...

Re: burning yocto bootlaoder using arduino ide for osx
I figured it out. You have to create a folder in the arduino folder called hardware then unzip into that folder.

a few ? about my finished yocto and leds lighting (RESOLVED)
I have completed the yocto and am waiting for an atmega chip with the OS before I can call it 100% finished. I'm noticing a few odd things Id like to get everybody's opinion on. edit: I'd also like to add that LED's 1-4 a very dim. From what I understand when you power on with a blank atmega chip th...

Re: im getting less than 15v to 4558 op amp in cymbal
ok. i just looked back at the instructions and what i think they meant is to not solder the chips in like you see in the picture. all of the previous build instructions have you testing those points without the op amp in place...I dont know why this would be any different. so, when i check the volta...

Re: im getting less than 15v to 4558 op amp in cymbal
when following the build instructions it says to test the voltage of 2 pins of the 4558 op amp while it is in the board before it gets soldered in. Its to make sure you are geting +15 volts and -15volts (allowing for a 5% deviation)

im getting less than 15v to 4558 op amp in cymbal
with the op amps installed but not soldered in im getting a reading of +14.18 and -13.98 on u5 in cymbal section...im not sure what to do because this deviates outside the 5% allowance. the other opamp at u3 reads +14.73 and -14.58

Re: I need serious help. Mouser bom incorrect ??
Yes there is the ceramic caps. This must be what is to be used. I think my confusion was because the build instructions where showing polyester caps and I was following the build instructions exactly and assumed thats what would be included in the mouser BOM.
