crash voice glitchy

hi,

i observe the following behaviour on the crash voice (ride and hihat are fine):
the crash sounds ok in the highest tuning, but when turning the tuning pot down, there are "steps" where
the crash just glitches. there are other settings where it sounds ok again.
it seems like the clock is stable just for certain resistances of VR25.
any suggestions how to fix this?

thanks

possibly you are hearing the total accent bug?

so in that bug one would hear the "tail" of the sample, but it would still not glitch (ie. sound like digital, crackling noise) ?
not sure that's what i'm hearing ... it seems the clock is instable, sometimes it sounds like the sample is speeding up or down,
but at a sample rate of only a few Hz instead kHz...

i fixed this now... i had placed 4011BE and replaced them by 4011UBE - now all the hats and cymbals are splashing and sizzling along as heard on 1000s of house records :-D

this important (and known) detail should perhaps be highlighted more.
