Does anyone know if the NAVA's NUM LED Tack Switch / Button is supposed to light up?

Function wise the NUM Button itself is working ok but it just doesn't light up when pressed. I also confirmed that the LED itself is working fine by itself when testing it with a multimeter. I'm starting to suspect that this is normal as of firmware v1.028 but would really appreciate it if anyone else could help to check on their NAVA as well.
