Hi everyone,

I just finished a Yocto2 and am at the early stages of a Nava Extra9 build. I'm still sourcing parts and am at the planning stages.

The last run of of the Erica Synths Exta9 enclosure arrived. I do have a few quick questions though. They couldn't answer these questions for me for some reason, which is weird since they have made the thing. Anyway:

1. This plexi piece: does the build actually have that much space between the PCBs and enclosure that you can/have to wedge plexi this thick in between? Does the Extra9 PCB layer affect this at all? I had hoped the LCD would come right to the top.
2. What are the external screw sizes for the enclosure? The size of the Yocto2 didn't seem correct to me so I'd like to get this right on the Nava and order the correct one in the first place.
3. The enclosure included some screws for the interior that doesn't have a head on it. I guess this helps mount the pcbs better. What is this nut size for these and are you mounting any additional spacers or wachers with them at any point?

1. Fit the lcd from the component side if you plan to use the glass. Otherwise fit from the solder side if you plan to omit the glass. I use double sided tape for fitting the glass.

2. The countersink screws that come with the case are correct and fit nice.

3. You’ll need some M3 locking nuts I also add a flat washer before the nut and I use a M3 bolt with flat washer and spring washer for the other 5. I like to add an extra 1mm spacer where the 6 5mm mounts are that seat the E9 board. When you count up the layers we need 6mm mounts not 5mm. I found some ruffly .5mm thick nylon washers which I glue using a 2 part compound.

I'll add that to purchase list since neither the BOM or Erica Synths was clear about that.
