Mux Board Issues
Posted: Oct 4th, '18, 01:08
My Nava is working as expected: all voices sound, all pots work correctly, sequencer all good, tempo / swing control etc ALL GOOD
However, that is with the mux board sockets empty.
When I plug the mux boards in to the two sets of IC sockets, all signal is lost. Sometimes, if a pattern is playing, it will continue to play with mux boards plugged in and then quickly fade to quiet.
I bought two Nava kits and this is the first build. I decided to assemble the second set of mux boards to try in case I may have fried an SMD IC. Same problem.
Any help would be appreciated—perhaps expected voltage on each pin of the SMD IC's so I can try to trace the problem?
Also the mux board does not seem to appear in the schematics anywhere, was this ever updated?
THANKS
