Just like the title says, the eeprom initializes everytime. Once it does, machine functions normally in both test modes and regular mode. Until it is powered off, then reinitialize... Any thoughts as to where to start looking?

I just fixed my Yocto. I replaced both EEeproms with new ones and now they work.
Probably fried them with my amazing soldering skills...

yep, thats my plan...
