They are in the BOM. Have a closer look at your order. Some parts aren't available at the moment and were backordered.

0.0047uF/4.7nF/472J -> http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Vis ... R5cC6DE%3d

0.047uF/47nF/473J -> check local shops for that one

more or less everything will agree

Just for my understanding, are these the capacitors in the BOM that the parts list is talking about? What does "Package/Pitch" stand for from the parts list?

---Capacitors from the Mouser BOM---
* Is this for C51, C52, C54, C161?
Mouser #: 80-R82EC1470DQ50J
Mfr. #: R82EC1470DQ50J
Manufacturer: Kemet
Desc.: Film Capacitors 4700PF 100volts 5%
RoHS: RoHS Compliant

* Is this for C53?
Mouser #: 647-QYX2A473KTP
Mfr. #: QYX2A473KTP
Manufacturer: Nichicon
Desc.: Film Capacitors 100volts 0.047uF
RoHS: RoHS Compliant

---Build it guide's parts list---
Part Value Package/Pitch Qty Note
Capacitors uF
C51, C52, C54, C161 0.0047 C050-025X075 4 Film capacitor
C53 0.047 C050-025X075 1 Film capacitor

Thanks!

4700pF = 4.7nF = 0.0047uF = 472 (J is for tolerance J = 5%)
0.047uF = 47nF = 47000pF = 473
that are two different caps

OK? ;-)

Thanks lukep. What does 472 and 473 stand for?

Were the capacitors I posted above the correct ones from the BOM?

Apologies for these basic questions, I'm really new to this

Thanks!

For ceramic/film capacitors, the first 2 numbers gives the value and the third is the multiplier, for exemple:

47pF marked 47
470pF marked 471
4700pF marked 472
47000pF = 47nF marked 473
470nF marked 474

Same for some potentiometers:

100 ohm = 101
1K = 102
10K = 103
100K = 104
and so on

The pitch is the spacing between the two legs of the capacitor (also called lead spacing sometimes).

The capacitors you mentioned seems to be the right ones.

Thanks a lot for this info! That was very helpful for me :)

I did a little more reading and found this overview/guide on capacitance values too. Here's a link for reference, hopefully it helps out others that are new to this as well
