Rimshot not working [SOLVED]

I just finished my nava, my last bug to solve is the rimshot.

when i trig via sequencer i can hear it but very very quiet only when level is at 0 (other instruments don't do that), from 1 to let's say 20 the pot makes noise while turning it (same sound like an old pot from an amp, crrsshh), then from 20 to 100 no sound at all.
i swaped the three ICs to other instruments nothing changed
i swaped the transistors , nothing changed
i checked each part for right place , diodes , resistors value , measuring pot seems ok : still nothing ,

i checked the schematic before. now the only thing i think is changing all caps but maybe someone has an idea with which one to start with ? my guess c120 121 122
i'm kind of a half noob since i already solder smaller projects but no electronic expert at all, i hope i just miss something . all the rest sounds ok

please let me know i you have a clue because maybe it has nothing to do with caps

Thanks,

Simon

My snare is exhibiting the same behaviour, right down to the weird noise when you turn the volume pot..
